evinrude compatibility

I currently have a 1975 evinrude 135 (model 135583). i just found a 1973 johnson 135 (model 138383m) for 100$ with a blown motor. are the lower units interchangeable? if any of the parts are interchangeable i would like to get it to have some spare parts. thanks!

The gearcase a$$embly of the 135hp is identical 1973 to 1976, excepting of course the possible difference in the length of the driveshaft.
