Hello, 1992 Intruder 150 hp for Crestliner Phantom 206 SST II
This is my first time on this site-thanks in advance for your advice and help! Our family took our annual vacaction this last year and "someone" forgot to put the boat plugs back in...they took on too much water, realized too late as they were in the middle of the lake and had to get back to shore...alarms went off--as it was overheating and overheated-engine blew. We've had this boat for over 20 years and I want to fix the motor. Help!!!! Where to start?? This boat needs to see water this spring
I'm ***uming the worse as far as the motor goes. It looks like the thermostat kinda melted and blew off of the motor. I'm thinking new pistons and rings, bore all cylinders and get honed, new thermostat, new plugs...
I'm not sure what parts I need to order and where to even start.
Please help!
