Starter

Hi. I have an Evinrude E50BELCIC (1981). The starter is an American Bosch 11229-21-M030SM. I have to replace the bendix (drive ***embly) because it is badly worn. What other parts do you suggest I replace at the same time? There is also some play on the shaft.
