1982 Evinrude 7.5HP

Just bought this one used, ran fine when I bought it. The issue is when I'm out on the water, it starts cold no problem, runs great low or high speed. But once I shut it off I can't get it started again until the next day. Tried it twice - same results. Anyone have this issue or know what it is?

Start by checking the spark on all cylinders when it won't start up, could have a bad powerpack.
