Hi all !
I just got me a nice 1956 Evinrude 10hp.. Its a beaut. I am just starting my evaluation on it. Looks like it maybe had a repaint on the outside, many years ago, but not sure. Its all there, now if I can figure out how to get a gas can for it...lol

Fuel Tank

This motor take a duel line presure tank. I have gotten several on eBay for un der $50. Good luck. You've got a great motor!! Ron

Yeah I got lucky, my buddy had a pressure style can from his old Johnson QD-13 that he brought me this afternoon.
He also dropped off the QD-13 (1952 10hp) with a few broken off bolts in the lower unit housing that he tried to fix several years ago unsucessfully. That was the motor the can came from. The old Johnson fuel can looks good, needs new lines and a good flush..leak check. Hope the little pump on it works. Really hope I can find parts to rebuild the little pump. At least the rubber seals on the cap are nice, so Im hoping the pumps still workin after a billion years.. Fingers crossed
