I have a 15hp evinrude 1991 that has me puzzled. I sent it to the shop last year had fuel pump and water propeller replaced. They also put in a carb kit.I purchased a new gas tank and line. I only ran the motor once as it was the end of the season and it really didnt seem right at that time. I got the motor out this week and it didnt want to start so I took the carb off and cleaned it good put it back on and it cranked fine. put the boat in the water and ran good for a ways but then seem to run out of fuel. I prime it back with the bulb in the gas line but and would run for a ways and out of fuel again. repeated the same a couple of times. replaced the fuel pump with one I had and got the same result. The same for the gas tank used one off another outboard and same result. Any ideas as to what may cause this?
