Can a 65 commercial mounted on a CMC jack plate be wired through the tiller handle

I am purchasing a 65 commercial tiller that I am going to mount on a CMC PT-130 jack plate. My question is can I wire it through the ETEC tiller handle if I buy the parts required for the recreation tilt and trim model and just wire to the thumb trim button through the twist grip? This is my first post, I hope I am doing it in the right place.

The trim switch would only be able to operate the jack plate or the outboard trim, probably better off mounting a jack plate switch(like a TH Marine push button switch) on side of tiller handle.

That is exactly what I want to do. I want to be able to operate the tilt and trim jack plate through the tiller handle using the Etec parts.

Then yes, just unhook the motor trim wires from under the cowling and wire them into your jack plate.
