Hi all,
My 1979 55 starts instantly when cold and will run at full power all day until I shut it down. It then fails to fire for about 2 hours until totally cold and then fires straight up and runs perfectly until shut down again. 2 hours later...same again! Carbs are clean, plug change no difference and also changing the CDU2 unit with a spare leaves me with the same problem. Priming the fuel bulb has no effect. Local boat shop has run their meter thingy over the coils etc and can find no problems with any of the ignition components and want ridiculous money for further testing.
Any thoughts please?
Thanks
