hydrofoil help

i'm interested in installing a hydrofoil on my 84 evinrude 25hp motor but am not sure how to do it. has anyone out there done this? is there anything in the fin(not sure what it's called), that can be damaged by drilling holes thru it? I'd rather not spend the extra money on a sport clip for this small motor. Any help would be appreciated, thanks.

There are no drill foils available, however they all come with instructions. You can drill holes in the cavitation plate.
