Ficht 150 low compression #2

I am trying to figure out what to do with this motor with only 350 hrs that I thought I would have for a long time. One minute all is well the next, power is diminished. It still runs but my mechanic tells me that #2 has 25 lbs. of compression. He thinks it's not hurt too bad based on looking at the plug that came out of that cylinder.

I could buy a used or re-man long block but I would want to know what happened to cause the problem in the first place.

It is hard to say what caused the damage. You would need have it completely dis***embled. For the correct diagnosis.
