Evinrude 45hp Information

I picked up a jon boat with a 45hp Evinrude that I can not find any information on. The boat is an 86 Polar Craft so I ***ume the motor is of a similar vintage. The information off the motor is:

G1094300


I know its a 45 hp 2-stroke 2-cylinder, rope start with charging capabilities. The "SL" designation doesn't make sense at that says 60 deg V with power tilt-trim, this doesn't have tilt. I was told this is a motor they use to use on the Navy jump boats, I don't know.

Is it possible to convert this motor to electric start (father has a hard time pull-starting when he wants to take it out)?

I couldn't find it parts book but it is a 1986 model. The electric start kit is part number 0396949 but not sure if any are available, call boats.net at 877-408-1499 to check availabilty.
