2010 etec 25 hp

I purchased a 2010 25 hp. etec last summer. i noticed that after bringing motor down to an idle, steam comes from out of the rear of motor flush area.
i called evinrude and the tech said this is normal. i've never seen this on all of the footage that i've seen online. any comments will be appreciated. this happens on hot and cold days.

The exhaust relief hole is in back and at times will see steam come from it.
