Correct Oil 1999 FICHT

Have a 1999 115HP FICHT motor. The dealer said that he set the computer up to use Evinrude sythentic oil. This oil is starting to get expensive and is also hard to find in my city. I am thinking of changing over to Amsoil sythentic oil. Not sure how this will work out and what Amsoil oil do I switch to

I recommend running the OEM oil, however check the API ratings. Make sure they match the oil your are replacing.
