ignition conversion kit

I have a 1993 evinrude 48 spl E48ESLETE , The motor has no spark. I was thinking of buying an ignition conversion kit for it , but everywere I look ,it seemes that the parts for a 1993 are not available , it goes from 1992 to 1994. Does anyone know what the difference is in the ignition system between a 1992,1993 and 1994?

There are no apparent distinctions between the two. I am uncertain why the conversion will not work for a 1993.
