Evinrude fuel issues.

I have an 1996 Evenrude model E25REDA. It will run great wide-open for a short time then run out of fuel. If I squeeze the primer bulb quick enough, it fires back up for another short while until the process repeats itself. This does not happen 100% of the time but often enough to discourage me from using the boat! I have ensured the fuel tank is vented and replaced the tank-to-motor fuel line and primer bulb. Any suggestions???

I'd be looking at the fuel connector to the motor, the o-ring go's bad and it will suck air in. Maybe the gasket on the fuel pump, good luck.

Highlander is right on........ as I had the same problem. Change the fuel connector!
