I am new so hello to all and thanks, and what ever you all can help me with would be greatly appreciated , what advice I can give to others I will.

I bought this boat last fall, just started working on it this spring. It was running rough at idle then it would clear up after a while and run great. I checked the battery while running and it was not charging, found the regulator rectifier to be the clause. The tack was intermittent also. Then the battery seemed sluggish, i charged it and got very high readings off of it 15v, put a load tester on it and it failed replaced that. So I put a timing light on each cylinder and two had no spark. I checked for loose wires and bad connections everything looked good. I tapped on the power pack and the engine came to life and ran normal, tapped it again and it ran like crap again. Got a new power pack and it would not start. The starter solenoid went up.Put that on and it ran good for about 20 minutes, then it ran like crap again. I tapped on the new power pack, nothing changed. I tapped on the other power pack the engine ran great again.

Has anyone seen something like this before? The boat sat a year before I got it also. Any test I could, input, I got a second power pack that I have not installed yet. Thanks for any advice.

I put the second power pack on and now I do not have spark on two cylinders on the opposite side.
