I HAVE AN FICHT 115 AND STARTS RUNS GREAT BUT IF ACCELERATE SLOW ABOUT 2500 TO 3200 RPM CHK ENGINE LIGHT AND BUZZER GOES OFF SHUTTING MOTOR INTO SAFE MODE AND THE HAVE TO KILL AND RESTART.BUT IF I THROTTLE UP A LITTLE AND THEN HIT IT MOST OF TIME BOAT JUMPS UP ON TOP WATER AND ENGINE RUNS OK. THOUGHT IT WAS BAD FUEL SO REPLACE GAS LINES BOUGHT BRP TANKS AND ADDED A STAINLESS STEEL FUEL WATER SEPARATOR IN TRANSOM AND CHANGE THE FILTER IN MOTOR.WHEN PUT ON A COMPUTER IT DOES NOT SHOW ANY CODES AND HAS HAD TWO SETS OF PLUGS PUT IN AND INDEXED AT SHOP.rEAD A THREAD WHERE SAME THING HAPPENED AND ON SECOND MECHANIC ENDED UP BEING AIRTEMP SENSOR AND THROTTLE SENSOR,DOES THIS MAKE SENSE OR ANYONE GOT ANY IDEAS OTHER THAN JUNKING THE FICHT-LOL

Do you have a service manual? I should be able to unhook the TPS rod & tie the TPS wide open, turn on your key ( don't crank or start ) and your system check gauge will blink any stored codes. 4 blinks then 7 blinks is code # 47 air temp problem. Code 47, 48, & 49 are air temp sensor problems. Check this with the Manual for your specific model & other codes you may have?

I remember reading something about Ficht's having a homogeneous to non-homogeneous fuel mixture change near that rpm range I want to say 3000rpm. Meaning when the rpm's hit that point, the way the fuel is injected acutally changes (not just by injecting more fuel, but by changing the pattern in which it is injected as well), you may have a problem there. Are you still having issues?
