I have a remote control 28 special that I am considering converting to tiller control. Can I salvage parts from a 25 Johnson or Evinrude to make the conversion? I can not find any parts in the catalog, so I ***ume it was not offered in tiller from the factory. It is a mid 90s motor.

tiller conversion.

if you can find a mid 90's donor engine it is an easy conversion. due to brp buying out omc products, they dont make some of the parts that used to be available. so it may be hard to buy new.
