First post and I am hoping for some good advice.
I was given a outboard by someone and they knew nothing other than when they tried to pull the rope the rope broke. They are moving and did not want to bother trying to fix the outboard.
I brought it home and took the cover off and there was what looked like a fine dust everywhere. He had thought that the dust was just from being in the basement. After looking at it at home,I decided it looked like it had been ubderwater and it was actually silt everywhere. I took at the spark plugs and there was moisture in the bottom cylinder, actually both looked like they had moisture.
I filled the cylinders up with PB Blaster and letting it sit for a couple days.
So, where do I go from here?
Model #E15RCSD
Thanks!
