1986 50hp temperature sensor

The temp sensor (part no. 0386686) on my motor has to be replaced.
The part is marked as no longer available and/or obsolete on every website including evinrude parts shop. Does anyone know if there is a replacement that will fit?

I sold a bunch of them on eBay in the past and sold out of them BUT I bet there's others there selling good used ones at a fraction of the new price.

Ya, I have already checked there. I am hoping that maybe one from a newer model fits it.
