This is my first time posting. I have a 1988 E150CXCCA that runs good but out of curiosity I checked the compression on it and all cyclinders are with in 5 pounds of each other, the highest being 91 pounds. Is this good for this engine? I have the service manual but it does not state what the compression should be other than it needs to be within 15 pounds of each other.

If that service manual states that a 15 psi difference is okay... I strongly disagree with whoever wrote it. Any psi difference that high spells trouble to me. However, that does not pertain to your engine.
Normally the starboard bank will read 95 psi, even when new. The port bank will read 90 psi, even when new. The difference being due to the design of the crankcase. Your engine is right in the ballpark.
