I have a evinrude 9.9 1984 model E10balcra. In parts i cant find that model only E10rcra. Can someone please point out where to connect the ground wire number 61 in cyl&cranckcase diagram. One end is on the cover and the other end goes to ???? under what screw.

If the "B" indeed is included within the model number... that simply indicates it was manufactured in Belgium. NO changes were made.

The ground wire is attached between the retaining bolt that goes through the round mount to the hood pan to whatever bolt is handy that retains the exhaust baffle plate cover... or any powerhead bolt that'll work for you, just so it grounds to the powerhead.

You mean under the bolt ( in my case its a screw) that is going thru the support grommet to the lower pan(lower cover)?

In your #1 post, you stated "One end is on the cover and the other end goes to ????"

Relying on that statement, I a$$umed that the wire was already under that bolt/mount that supports the lower pan/cover.

That "cover" is EXHAUST COVER, Outer 0322404, and on that exh cover lower left bolt has a ground wire connected, the other end is connected to ???.

You wrote : "The ground wire is attached between the retaining bolt that goes through the round mount to the hood pan"

          You mean by
          "hood pan" = lower cover,
"round mount" = one (left) of three support mounts on the lower cover

          Is this correct ??
Tnx for your help, just wont to be sure where to connect.

            Yes.

There's a few covers on that engine... room for confusion.
