Help to identify a V4 powerhead by serial number

Need help to figure out what this powerhead is. Bubble back, no longer on a mid, was told it is a mis 1980's 88 hp but the bubble back doesnt add up to that. Serial number that is stamped in the freeze plug on the block is G3985564.

No model number available. Can anyone help please?

The factory people (Bombardier) have been know to provide the year, hp, etc via that G3985564 number. I don't know of anyone else that can.

There should be a small metal plate attached to the port transom bracket with the model and serial number imprinted. If it is not there. give the factory a call.

Thanks for the reply, but as mentioned in the post, this is a powerhead only. No mid, transom brackets etc. Therefore no model number.
