First off let me say I know nothing about outboards. I have the boat in the shop right now to have them rebuild the carbs. (Running lean i think thats what they said) well they rebuilt both carbs but its still running lean. I know that on one of the carbs the br*** jet that sticks down through the hole on the float is cracked all the way down and they said that might be the issue for that one but they have no idea why the other is running lean. They are basically saying that i moght need to replace the carbs but they are obsolete parts and I cant find them anywhere. I cant even find rebuilt ones on ebay or anything. The part number is 0397610. If anyone knows where i can find them rebuilt and running (guaranteed to work) please let me know. I only got out on the water 2 times this year before the boat crapped out on me and i would like to get back out there before i have to winterize it. Any help is greatly appreciated.
