So I ran the motor and it did better but after about 10 mins it started doing the same thing but not as bad at full throttle and was fine at half throttle and once it starts it keeps doing it. I went home and took the fuel pump off and it looks perfect but the smaller o ring around the screw on the gas line coming in was damaged so would that cause my trouble?

You asked: "but the smaller o ring around the screw on the gas line coming in was damaged so would that cause my trouble?"
O Ring around the screw??...... Explain in detail.
If you have a damaged O Ring on a clip on fuel line fitting... yes, that would allow the fuel pump to draw air and the engine couldn't maintain a high rpm in that condition.

The gas line going into the fuel pump connects to a circle piece that covers the side of the fuel pump there is two o rings on it that seal it. One screw holds the cover on. The small o ring that seals around the screw is the one damaged. Im hoping that's it. I'll let you know what it does. Thanks
