Hi gents, I'm new to the forum here. Looks like a great place!
I just had a 9.9 evinrude 2 stroke given to me and it looks and runs great. I haven't had it in the water yet, just in a bucket here in the driveway.
I need to know how I can identify what model/year it is. On the transom broacket, there looks to be whats left of a foil type sticker, but it's completely ruined, and I can't make out any munbers from it at all.
Also, I had it running for about 5 mins, but there was no water stream from the "pee hole" just what looks to be a little steam?
I'd like to find out what year etc, so I can order a repair manual for it.
Any help would be awesome guys. Thanks a million.
