Hello. I am trying to set up a simplex/ship master two handle control box on my 1987 Evinrude120. Does anybody have any experience or knowledge on installing a neutral safety switch in these boxes. Please share. Any help, advice, pictures, drawings, or anything at all will be greatly appreciated. I have searched the internet with no luck. Thanks, Danny

I checked in my OMC accessory books from 1987 through 1991..... no mention of a neutral safety switch.
Being retired, that's as far as my book went. Perhaps that switch came about in later years? -
The control box is probably from the mid to late 70s, I'm guessing. Just thought somebody may have added one. My sons take this boat out occasionally and I dont like the idea of it cranking in gear.Comment
