I'm attempting to attach a picture to this post but it is not working. I have a 1988 Evinrude 90 horse V4 outboard. In the throttle control box, there is a round disc located above the ignition switch. This is intermittently getting hot and beginning to melt. I'm wondering what is this item called and what would cause an amp draw high enough to melt this object. Everything else appears to be functioning fine with the motor including the charging system.
