2004 225 ho injector

Hello, great site!

I dropped my #1 injector. Everything I read says I cant put in a used one.. I was quoted at the dealer today for $922 for a new one (yikes)..

Is there a way to get the coefficients for a used one? Or does anyone have a cheaper solution? This motor has been a money pit and I just cant bring myself to stick another thousand into it at this point..

Injector replacement

I have a 2000 225 hp Evinrude and only 1 out of 6 injectors serial #'s match with what the EMM has stored. As long as you don't end up with a used injector with coefficients that are out of the normal range of what your EMM has for that injector it should be fine.

FYI the injectors on my engine were replaced by marine mechanics who did not take the time to update the EMM with the injector info.
