I have a 1973 Johnson 135 V-4 with mechanical gear shift. I am missing the controls and the gearshift lever. I can get the lever on ebay for $30 or so. I don't know what type/brand of controls are compatible with this motor. One site I visited said these motors need OMC style cables. Is this different from a universal shifter/cable setup? Does anyone reccomend an inexspensive/simple throttle/shifter cable control for this motor?
