2015 Evinrude Etec 115

Has anyone experienced having problems with their Etec trying to get it started for the first time every day? It takes 8-10 times turning over motor till it finally starts. After getting started it cranks fine the rest of the day. Dealer ssems to not know what is causing this. Secondly, in rough water the hot alarm started going off every now and then. Stop recrank and it will be fine for awhile. When I carried it in for the starting issue he asked if my motor was having a hot alarm going off. Is there an issue with this also with the Etec? Thanks

Different dealer

I would try a different dealer even if I had to drive 100 miles. That motor is under warranty. If your dealer doesn't help I would call Evinrude.
I have a 2015 90hp pontoon series motor and it is perfect can't believe how easy it starts.
