Bought a used 1976 15 hp recently; motor cover has 15 hp decals on it. Had a recent tuneup/check over, and # on repair slip from the marina states 10624 H ----which looks to me like a 9.9 Where is this 10624 located on the motor?
Obviously, 15 & 9.9 covers from 1976 are interchangeable, or some one stuck on 15 hp decals a long time ago??!!
Motor was advertised as a 15 hp....will be interested in responses, thanks.
