Fuel Pump for 10FRELEU 1997

Looking for info on this fuel Pump. It seems Evinrude does NOT make the fuel pump any more. It seems that Sierra should make a replacement. Anybody have any info on why evinrude stopped making this pump??? My last pump blew out both check valves. I had several old pumps and I took the middle section out that contains the check valves and replaced the unit. It work for my 2015 season but I would feel a lot better with a new pump.I had two pumps blow out the check valves. Is this the reason they stopped making the motor.

Evinrude list them as no longer available. I checked for aftermarket but couldn't find any. I'm not sure where you could get one.
