Water intake on the older engines was under the cav plate, above the prop.. Running engine in a flush tank/trash can, etc, not very practical with the bigger engines, especially when you have to flush after each use (brackish water).. Does anyone have a photo of an old-style flush adapter or plans for a home-made adapter.. Someone had sent me a picture of a Tempo 931 flusher, but may have had parts missing.. Wasn't obvious how it would attach to the engine..
