2003 225 evinrude ficht injector question

Can i install a used injector with the same model number and same cylinder without programming and see if its running normal or not and if it is would that mean its not running lean ?? Was trying to get it programmed at dfi but cant get in touch with them also dealers say they cant get cofs off the used injector got to buy a new one thanks

Anytime you change injectors you have to reprogram. It is very hard to get files on older injectors.
