2000 90 Ficht Oil Level Sensor
Motor runs fine at idle, as soon as it is throttled 5-7 seconds later it gets goverened back to idle when my low oil light comes on and alarm sounds. If I shut it off and restart it is fine to idle around again. If I have someone heavy in the front of my boat and it gets out of the water in that 5-7 seconds it runs fine at higher rpms. I have monitored my oil for a whole day of ideling and the odd time when I could get it out of the water, and oil consumption seems to be adequate. IS this problem as simple as a new oil level sensor? Or is there possibly something else going on here? Please help!
