1960 Starflite 75 running hot?

My 75hp starflite is running hot. Has new t-stat, pumps good water. Where else should i try? Running around 180.

If you're sure the cooling system is in good shape, check the compression, you may have a head gasket leaking compression into the cooling system.
Is it running hot in the water or in a barrel?

Its running hot in a barrol. I was told the compression was actually really good.
