Hello all!
With numerous searches I was lead to the forum. Im looking to purchase a new (to me) rig. The rig is equipped with a 2005 Evinrude etec HO. Any info on these motor is appreciated. I have read good things about the motor yet still kind of weary about the purchase. The boat and motor look brand new and the owner claims it has less than 150 hrs.
Is it possible to look up the service history without going to a dealer? The boat is 5 hrs away, so I didn't want to waste my time. The owner supplied me with the model and serial number. Any help or direction to help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.
