2001 Evinrude 150 sucked up sand and hot warning light came on shut it down, took it in and flushed the engine for 15 minutes or so. Now, turn the key and all 4 warning lights stay on and turning the key to start and nothing, not a click, not a buzz, nothing. Any suggestions?

Check kill switch. Check battery connections. Fuses inside Cowling? Check temp sensors, and make sure motor is in neutral (won't turn over if not in neutral).
Is this a four stroke, or 2 stroke motor?
Can you turn motor flywheel by hand, any movement?
How much sand got sucked up, and for how long, and how long did motor overheat?
Generally sand alone won't cause motor to not start, it might damage impeller, or block cooling system, but something else, one of the neutral safety switches, kill switch, or maybe ignition switch is preventing the starter from turning motor over. Or, a bad connection, solenoid, battery, starter, etc.?
Good luck, post back if you find anything.
