I have a 98 150 fitch. model number #150oilecr
Using Saturday during a tournament. Ran early morning with no issues. making 5000 rpms and running 50 mph. Motor is on a 1987 21 Foot Stratos 201 Pro.
After about 2 hours of running motor off and on. I came to a no wake zone. after no wake zone I applied full throttle and engine seemed to bog down and could only get 4000 rpms at WOT. It seemed like it was a fouled plug. Well it stayed that way for another 15 minutes. I shut engine off and let cool. Restarted and it wasn't idling normally like it was missing. So i headed back to the dock. On the way back to the dock i lost another 1000 rpms and smoking really bad. So i pulled boat out of water and took home. Put it on the ear muffs at home. Changed spark plugs. Spark plugs removed were very oily. like dripping oil and gas off of them. started motor at home runs very poorly. So i checked spark plus wires-good
checked compression all above 100 psi
checked each coil packs. good on resistance
checked crank sensor good
checked TPS good
checked resistance on all fuel injectors good
I just had the oil pump replaced and the ECU repaired by DFI technologies last year.
I changed out ignition module with a goo done. still runs poorly.
Changed fuel pump out with known good one. still runs poorly.
So anyone have any suggestions????
