Last summer while running, motor cuts off all of a sudden. Checked if it was overheating, but the pump seems to work well as a steady strong stream of water comes out and it is not hotter than usual. I restart the engine with no problem. It runs fine. I seems ok after that. It is only intermittent at the moment and it does not do this everytime I use it. Any ideas on the possible cause.

    Thanks

If intermittent, it may be difficult to locate at this time. It could be kill switch, or another sensor that could be starting to act up? It's hard to pin point, until it becomes a regular interruption. Paying attention to any details of running that seem different from usual could help if situation occurs more regularly.

On occasion feel temperature at cylinder heads to see if getting hotter than tell-tale steam, if getting too hot at top cylinder, where sensor is located, but pee-steam still cool, it may be indication of salt/corrosion blockage of pas-sages, or sticking thermostat that could throw into overheat condition as well.

    Again, details help, good luck.

Post back if you notice more.
