wrong impeller key

I have a E120TLCCA motor and ordered an OEM water pump repair kit. The kit came with a wedge key, however, my motor requires a woodruff or half moon key. I called the distributor and they said that is the right kit and the wedge key would fit without any problems. In order for the wedge key to fit, I need a flattened spot on my shaft. My shaft if completely round with a longitudinal slot cut in it for the half moon key. Any input where I can get the proper key and impeller? The parts guy said they haven't used that style for years. Thanks Greg

Just use the old key? The one you removed from the old water pump impeller. But make sure impeller is right one.
Can lookup your motor above online, in the parts page above, and see if part number is same for the kit you bought, click on the part number, it will tell you all the years and motors the kit fits.
