Late 80's evinrude 30. Replaced the impeller, removed the excess pieces, ran compressed air up the water tube to check if clogged.... Had air at the indication hole and out of the little ports near the power head. Tried muffs and a barrel. Only a few drops out of the indicator port after about 30 seconds. Any ideas? I did make sure the water tube mated up with the impeller housing.... But might not have been a tight fit, this is the only thing I can think of.
The key for the impeller was different (square now vs round previously) so I fabed one up and it was pretty tight when I ***embled everything.... Ideas?
