I have a 1991 Evinrude 70 HP. I bought it used several years ago. It has new Champion plugs and I used Sea Foam last year to clean sludge from engine. The boat has a new control panel. It has been difficult to get get into gear without stalling since I have owned it. Last weekend we took it out using gas left over from the fall consolidated from two tanks into one. Cranked, idylled, and ran like a top. I remarked several times how good it was running. This weekend we took it out and it was back to the old problems. The only difference was we bought new gas, added oil to the mixture (50:1) , and 1/2 oz fuel conditioner. . The only thing I can guess is maybe the oil to fuel ratio is too rich. Help
