New to outboard motors

I have a 59 evinrude 35 horsepower and trying to figure out how to get power to the dang thing, it has a 7 prong connecter on the side of it but cant find any part that would plug into it? Am I looking for the wrong part because i tried power plug, motor cable, etc and nothing turns up to what i need. Any suggestions?

I believe back then they used an external solenoid box usually mounted under the back transom deck, or side of the boat somewhere. Don't know if you can find anything like that these days??
