I had a new impeller fitted, with oil change and new plugs, at my local marine engineer, first time I ran the engine it failed on no.4 cylinder, discovered water in my oil and water ingressing into no.4 cylinder, compression good on all cylinders and injectors tested fine, no sign of water in fuel system, it was suggested to me that this model of engine had a common fault of inferior cylinder head material, thinking it might be a cylinder head gasket, do you need special tools to do this job. I am car mechanic by trade, could I tackle this with the aid of a manual.
