I replaced the Startor ***embly and the Rectifier / Regulator ***embly. last year with new parts, ran all summer just fine, this fall looked back and seen smoke coming out of engine cover. removed flywheel and found both bad again.
Suggestions on cause of failure? Sure hate to replace again just to have same problem.
