I recently -(about 1 mo ago) sent in my ECU for a 2001 Evinrude 250 DFI and it was given a clean bill of health. The engine stopped at idle speed and would not restart.
Items I have replaced below;
The engine started and ran for about 30 min with consistent restarts after manually activating all the injectors via software. Now it's doing the same thing again...no start. It left me stranded and had to be towed on vacation. NO boat at Hatteras; What a bummer!
Items replaced after running for 30 min.
I have not replaced the charging stator or the throttle position sensor,
Eric at DFI suggested some CPS testing, below are the results
DFI believes there may be a problem with the harness. Software shows no fault codes or stored codes.
Thanks for any insight or suggestions
