My 1983 50hp ran rough for several minutes and then quit entirely due to a lack of spark in both cylinders. The coil packs were new from last year so I changed the power pack. It ran fine for about an hour, then ran rough again for several minutes (probably on one cylinder) then died completely again due to a no spark conditiin in both cylinders. Tried another power pack, and now it will start right up, run for 3-10 seconds then it dies due to no spark. I removed the flywheel to inspect the magneto and wiring and I can see no obvious probelm. The powerpack seems to be well grounded, and I am at a loss as to how I should move forward in this repair. Please help!
