Hello,
Neighbor bought a used 1995 Evinrude 225hp Ocean Pro and it will not trim up. The pump runs in both directions but the engine does not move. I suspect the manual release is open but I tried (lightly) turning it either way and it does not want to move.
My memory is getting old so I dont remember which way to close. I think it is clockwise to close/seat the release screw. Is this correct?
Also, if it needs fluid we were going to manually tilt it up (in the water), use the tilt lock and then add fluid.
Any other ideas/insight or hints to this fasttrac system? Thank you.
